(Most of) These photographs are a record of things I see as I pass through places. These things make me think - why?

I imagine, I create stories, I perceive these things. What I can share may just be the visuals, but at that point when I am pressing the shutter, I am inhaling the smells. Before and after, I am running my fingers along weathered walls, rusty doors, knowing that it is real, trying to feel and sense a place, thinking of the persons who have touched the same spot before, what they are/were like, what they do/did. A place becomes real when it is/has been inhabited, when a person makes a mark, knowingly or unknowingly. A place becomes real when people interact within - when people stand so close and try to avoid a stranger at the same time in a shared narrow space.
